The Environment Effects Statement (EES) for the Gas Import Jetty and Pipeline Project is now available for public comment.
The EES and related documents provide information about the potential environmental, social, economic, and planning impacts of the proposed Project. The documents also outline how these potential impacts would be managed during construction and operation of the Project if it is approved.
Also available for public comment are the key Victorian statutory applications for the Project including the draft planning scheme amendment to the Mornington Peninsula Planning Scheme, the EPA works approval application, and the pipeline licence application.
The EES process provides an opportunity to share your views on the Gas Import Jetty and Pipeline Project and have them considered by the Inquiry and Advisory Committee and relevant decision makers.
The public has 40 business days to consider the documents and make a submission. Submissions close at 11.59pm on Wednesday 26 August 2020.
For more information on how to access the EES and how to make a submission visit the EES section of this website.
